Pam’s life is a testament that every little yes matters to God.
Pamela and her husband, Mayor Bill Mutz have been married for 45 years. They have twelve children, and Pam is passionate about helping other women cultivate healthy, God honoring marriages and families.
Tragically, soon after marriage, grief and loss would become part of Bill and Pam’s story.
At the age of seven months old, Jonathan left this earth to join Jesus. Pam’s life is an encouragement that God can use any trial for his glory.
Today, Bill and Pamela are the grandparents of thirty grandchildren; two of whom are in the presence of the Lord, along with their own story- inspiring son, Jonathan.

For twenty-six years Pam and Bill have served bi-vocationally on Family Life’s “Weekend to Remember” Speaker Team. They were interviewed on the nationally syndicated radio broadcast “FamilyLife Today.” Their story, “Jonathan’s Balloon,” as told by Carol Kent, was featured on “Focus on the Family” first in 1994 and on July 14-15, 2008, entitled “Secret Longings of the Heart.” Pamela speaks on Sexual Intimacy and shares Jonathan’s Balloon story in the video series by FamilyLife, “The Art of Marriage.” She has been highlighted in various local magazines as well. Her love for the outdoors was nurtured as a Colorado native for twenty-one years. A move to the mid-west provided an enriching environment to raise the first part of their family for twenty-one years before God called them to Central Florida. She presently serves on the board of FCA and Deeper Walk International Ministries. The passion and joy of Pam’s life is falling more and more in love with Jesus, and spending time with her lifetime spouse of forty-five years, Bill, and her kids and grandkids!
